Yeah but doesn’t it get on your ‘stache? It annoys the hell out of me when my mustache hangs over my lip line. Constantly trimming it is a pain but the alternative is worse to me. Beardwise, I’m more of a close trimmed stubble kind of guy. I like to feel my face lol.

Couple of months depends what type of beard hair you have really. Mines really wirey, fair and grows in random patterns, grows fairly slowly. Some people with black hair seem to be able to grow beards quicker

Just give it time. Dont be tempted to trim it for at least 2 months, shampoo and condition it and use beard oils :)

I was born in a city that's 25% Muslim, went to a university that's about 10% Muslim, and have actually mainly met friendly and honest Muslim women. That is exactly why I was able to discuss this with them.

A misnomer chosen by those who sell it.As stated in a comment above: right now, in my city, this obvious tool of islamist propaganda is not welcome. This ridiculous attire has nothing to do with mainstream muslim teachings, and has only started to appear on our beaches after the July 14th terror attack. It's pure and simple provocation/propaganda. The ban, while questionable, is a good way to tell islamists not to push it, or there will be consequences.
